These three objects build upon a project from the previous semester, with a shift toward utility demonstrated by the creation of a vase using the same technique. This process resulted in a mold with an inverted structure. The work Cores represents a reversal of this mold, bringing the inverted internal structure to the surface. The starting material was clay, which was pressed against stone fragments, creating a form that was subsequently cast in a mixture of white cement and limestone aggregate.
